ZOË KRAVITZ AND HARRY STYLES IN SAINT LAURENT

►There’s Another Wedding of the Decade on the Horizon:  One celebrity mega-wedding down this year, one more potentially to go. Zoë Kravitz and Harry Styles are reportedly planning a pair of Christmas ceremonies—one in the U.K. and another in either New York or New Orleans. And here’s THR’s admittedly premature prediction: Kravitz will almost certainly wear a custom Saint Laurent gown by her close pal Anthony Vaccarello, paired with jewels by Jessica McCormack, who probably did her Harry Styles engagement ring (unconfirmed.) McCormack designed the engagement ring Kravitz received from former fiancé Channing Tatum before the couple split. Zoe's also got a diamond - an antique Georgian ring by Mia Moross - from ex-husband Karl Glusman. Nice collection she's got going (of rings and men.) Styles, now a Saint Laurent regular, has been getting to know Vaccarello himself, so could wind up in the label as well.

►Wedding Bell Twos: Holy sh–. It’s one thing to call something “fecal matter.” It’s another to name your fashion label after it. But that’s exactly what the avant-garde Paris brand Matières Fécales (founded by Canadian designers Hannah Rose Dalton and Steven Raj Bhaskaran) did—and somehow turned it into one of fashion’s hottest names. They’ve dressed everyone from Demi Moore and Lady Gaga to Sarah Paulson and Zendaya, whose sculptural white Ange gown at The Odyssey premiere became an instant viral hit - as has her double box office blockbusters (Spider-Man: Brand New Day ). The designer duo also designed three unconventional bridal looks for model and It girl Gabbriette when she married The 1975 frontman Matty Healy in Los Angeles. Don’t be surprised if Venice, Toronto and the Emmys are crawling with badass babes in Matières Fécales hot sh.. this fall.

►L.A. at NYFW: Two well worthy Southern California designers will make their New York Fashion Week debuts this September: Santa Barbara’s Jamie Haller, whose shoes, bags and apparel have earned her a Vogue Fashion Fund nomination and High Sport’s Alissa Zachary, whose cult-favorite Kick pants cost about $900 (fans swear they’re worth every penny).

►Fashion Books and Docs à Deux: Two new fashion docs about two iconic Euro fashion moguls are worth adding to your watch list. Brunello Cucinelli: The Gracious Visionary follows the farmer’s son who built a billion-dollar luxury empire and became one of fashion’s best-known philanthropists. Meanwhile, Be Brave, an AI-made documentary about Diesel founder Renzo Rosso—the force behind OTB, which also owns Maison Margiela, Marni, Jil Sander and Viktor & Rolf—will premiere at the Venice Film Festival, directed by Francesco Carrozzini, son of legendary Italian Vogue editor Franca Sozzani, and ex-husband of Anna Wintour scion Bee Shaffer … Carolyn Bessette Kennedy’s ’90s minimalism may be having a fashion redux, but now her late husband gets the style treatment, too, with October’s American Style: The Look and Legacy of JFK Jr. … And legendary costume designer Jean Louis—the man behind gowns worn by Marilyn Monroe, Rita Hayworth, Marlene Dietrich, Doris Day, etc. and countless others—is celebrated in the new Rizzoli book Jean Louis: Hollywood’s Bombshell Designer, out in September. He was Bob Mackie before there was a Bob Mackie.

VICTORIA'S SECRET FASHION SHOW COMING TO LOS ANGELES

►Odds and Ends: Get your wings out: The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returns to Los Angeles on Oct. 14th, bringing its Angels and diamond bras back to the City of Angels for the first time in two decades. …

►LACMA and Gucci have set November 7th for their annual Art+Film Gala, honoring Dune director Denis Villeneuve and artist Vija Celmins. … Longtime Gucci celebrity-relations chief Greg Nise has exited; former Valentino executive Katie Goodwin is taking over.… The 2027 Pirelli Calendar will feature two Indian-born stars, Freida Pinto and Padma Lakshmi. …

►And in honor of America’s 250th birthday, the CFDA and Vogue unveiled United Flags of Fashion at Rockefeller Center, with patriotic flag designs by Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, Tory Burch, Thom Browne, Tommy Hilfiger, Jasmine Larian Hekmat, Cynthia Rowley and more.

INFLUENCER AND STYLIST NICKY CAMPBELL

►If You're Not one of fashion influencer Nicky Campbell’s half-million Instagram followers, you may have missed his signature move: lightning-fast, one-word runway and red-carpet verdicts. “Slay!” “Slob!” “Love!” “Never again!” Campbell has parlayed those rapid-fire reviews into a devoted following, collaborations with designer Thom Browne and an unlikely second career as a celebrity stylist. Funny thing is, none of it was part of the plan.

“I just wanted to be a menswear editor at Vogue,” Campbell says. “And I did that for six years.”

He only launched his instant hit Instagram about 18 months ago, hoping it might lead to a few brand deals. Instead, it turned him into one of fashion’s funniest—and bitchiest—online commentators. “People think I’ve been around for years because I’m always pumping stuff out,” he says. “This rabid audience is new. People come up to me in airports.”

Remarkably, even the celebrities he skewers don’t seem to mind. “They love it even more,” Campbell says. “I try to keep it lighthearted. It’s only my opinion. I don’t know everything.”

His current style heroes? Rihanna. A$AP Rocky. Greta Lee. Billie Eilish. Colman Domingo. Jacob Elordi.

Along the way, Campbell became friends with Hollywood power stylists Danielle Goldberg (Greta Lee, Ayo Edebiri, Jessie Buckley) and Law Roach (Zendaya), whose influence has clearly rubbed off on him. Campbell’s styling career actually began with Grace Gummer’s husband, producer Mark Ronson, who had never worked with a stylist before. From there he moved on to Gummer herself, dressing her for the premiere of Love Story, in which she played Caroline Kennedy, and for later appearances including the Met Gala. The new Grace is now Princess Chic.

Which raises an obvious question: What happens when one of fashion’s most outspoken critics is judging a red-carpet look he styled himself?

“That’s a really good question,” Campbell says with a laugh. “When it really works, I have to say, ‘We killed it!’ But I’ve also said, ‘That one really didn’t work.’ Styling’s definitely taught me to be kinder.”

An online sample-sale favorite that recently opened its first L.A. outpost at 8451 Melrose—stocks labels like Marni, Lanvin, Bottega Veneta and Jil Sander at deep discounts. On a recent visit, I found a chic Lanvin peplum dress for $350 and a Marni shirt for $150. The staff couldn’t be nicer, and yes, there’s even a white grand piano you can tinker around with while contemplating your purchases. Consider it an early holiday gift to yourself. …

►Speaking of great deals: Friends recently introduced me to my latest obsession, Alloy Market. The company buys and sells authenticated gold, silver and diamond jewelry—much of it sourced from film productions, costume designers, Hollywood stylists and actors who receive luxury gifts—for 60 to 75 percent below retail. And yes, they’ll buy your gold and silver, too.

►The Ever Enterprising Rick Caruso’s briskly rebuilt Palisades Village officially reopens Aug. 15 following its post-fire, nine-figure renovation. Among the newcomers: Elyse Walker, Mother Denim’s first U.S. flagship, Loomey’s Toys and K. Bakery.

►A Brand-New Celine Boutique...under creative director Michael Rider opens on Rodeo Drive on Aug. 14TH. Loose Threads will be there to report back.
